Original Masterpiece

Isn't it amazing how times of trial is used by God to teach lessons?  Throughout my life I have struggled in life battles and recently I realized that all too often we fall back into our sins due to the fact that we see ourselves as our sins. You see, when we ask for forgiveness, God forgives and forgets. We are not that simple, it seems that whenever we look into the mirror we see our sins and the lies we have lived in. We need to learn to look into the mirror and see what God sees, His original masterpiece. He doesn't see our sins when He looks at us, He sees his beautiful son/daughter that is His perfect and original masterpiece. So, my challenge for whoever is reading is to look in the mirror and see what God sees, not your sins, but one of His original masterpieces.

Prayer: Thank you God for seeing me as your original masterpiece! You are an amazing father and I ask You to open my eyes to the beauty you see in me. Amen.

Forgiveness

What a powerful quote! This hit a nerve with me. God warns us in the Bible to watch ourselves and someone decided to sum it up in a quote for us. Since we are humans, flaws will happen and we must live with them (So we feel.) Also, we can all too quickly fall into a deep dark destiny when the Devil puts one evil thought in our minds. It is a hard to deal with an evil thought and many have experienced it, including me. I struggle and sin daily! But the good thing is that God can save us from this pit of despair. No matter if you have done the worst deeds or the best deeds and you just have a slight issue on the side, He is open and willing to save. You see, the LORD has this unique ability to forgive AND forget. We, as humans, struggle with forgiving (and especially forgetting) but God is almighty and he forgives and forgets. He is the amazing God that will NEVER leave you. So go ahead, talk to God and ask him to walk with you in your life, ask Him to forgive you, guess what... He will say yes as many times as he can. He loves you and he is there for you. I have seen His forgiveness and love and there is nothing that can even come close to comparing to it. He is an amazing God that I hope you will get to know!

Wow! What a God we have!

He is an amazing, all powerful being while we are poor small sinners in his wonderful and amazing creation. We are one of many yet he made us slightly under the angels.

We serve and amazing, all powerful, God who has allowed us to rule over the Earth and all of his creatures.

Our God loves us so much that he chose us and knows how many hairs we have on our heads AND when one single hair falls from our heads (and for ladies that is a lot.)

Our God is amazing and he loves each and every one of us unconditionally. He invites the non-believer and rejoices for those who are planning on spending eternity with him.

What an honor it is to be with him and what an amazing God we serve!

You Are Loved

Recently, I felt the Holy Spirit speaking so I acted upon it and this is what HE wrote:

God has put a few words on my heart.

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL

No matter if you are 300lbs or the weight you are now, you are beautiful in the eyes of the Lord and no one can take Him from you. Even when you don't love yourself He is there for you.

HE LOVES YOU

He is the DAD that never fails you and is always there to listen to you, and the best thing... He is PERFECT! He never makes mistakes when He gives you spiritual nudges and if you make the wrong move...

HE IS THERE NO MATTER WHAT

God doesn't leave you for anything. He lets you put your wrongs behind you and move on with your life. When we make a mistake He says, "That's all right, I love you unconditionally!" Also, there is one other thing...

THERE IS MORE THAN JUST YOU

You are not alone. There is a whole family of Christians that will come alongside you and love you despite your flaws. Sometimes we feel awkward talking about our Lord and Savior but your we (your Christian family) will always be there. God has put special people in your life to encourage you and He has given us future mates to lean on and become stronger in our faith together.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE...

God loves you and we are all there for you. And we is NOT only people, it is Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, and your Christian family.
